McCain Family Is Hiding Their Wealth

We've already reporter that while John McCain released a few of his tax returns (which showed, among other things, that he is currently on 100% disability from the military), he has refused to release his wife's tax returns.

Cindy McCain, whose wealth allowed him to get into politics in the first place, is worth at least $100 million dollars. Her family owns one of the largest Budweiser wholesalers, along with who knows how many other investments. Wouldn't it be nice to see exactly how much John McCain is worth, and what conflicts of interest he may have?

Considering that Cindy McCain has already provided her family jet to the McCain campaign for bargain basement prices, and considering the renewal of the estate tax will be a fairly big issue in the next four years, this is crucial information for voters to have. Even Teresa Heinz-Kerry disclosed portions of her tax returns in 2004.

As long as the McCains keep hiding their personal fortune, this issue won't go away.
